Ants on a log-- all in a row. Tell a tale of wonders of all the things they know. Tell us your tale of the wonders that you know, as we all sit together like ants in a row.
I love words. I always have. Therefore, I write. I love how words flow
when strung together like a pearl necklace.
I love ideas more—especially when they stir emotions and make me think.
I love words when they are poetic or profound
and cause me to conjure up pictures in my mind.
I love words of wisdom.
I love listening to the words of others.
I jot them down and review them later in my mind.
I feel they are a gift to me—like golden nuggets. Oh, I just love words!
One word can make a sentence. Two sentences can make a paragraph.
Two paragraphs can make a chapter. Two chapters can make a book.
Oh, how I love great books with great words and great ideas!
Hours upon hours have been spent stringing these pearls together.
I have felt satisfaction and joy in doing so. I have laughed and I have cried.
I have tried to be completely truthful with my feelings.
But most of all, I have tried to leave a message with lasting value—
my own words of wisdom.
Now, I invite you to read, think, and find joyful, fulfilling living. (An excerpt from my book, "Finding Fulfillment.") Lorae Stirling
